Detroit

I have been out of the loop for some time now, mostly because I am too lazy to include it. However, I was impressed that the New York Times had a front page article (a few weeks ago) on WrestleMania.

I happened to be in Detroit that same weekend for the 2007 AITP National Collegiate Conference. I was supposed to stay in the Marriott Hotel located in the Renaissance Tower, but WrestleMania booked the whole hotel, so we got bumped to the Holiday Inn Express. It was an interesting time going into the hotel every day. Just think of it as Computer Geeks v. White Trash. I don't know who I'd declare as a winner... well, other than me. I placed in three of the five events that I competed in.
